Z853S Comfort Package – for SECUTEST/SECULIFE

The Comfort Package expands your SECUTEST/SECULIFE with many convenient features for even more efficient work – configure your SECUTEST to suit your workflow ideally and reduce the number of work steps! Discover the option for transferring test reports directly to IZYTRONIQ by simply pressing a key after testing, without exporting and importing the complete database structure.

Firmware 2.1.1 or higher is required in order to use the functions included in the Comfort Package – firmware 3.3.1 or higher is required in order to use all functions.

The update also permits improved communication with IZYTRONIQ. (Operation with ETC, PC.doc, E-manager and PS3 is no longer assured after the update.)

Product Highlights

The Comfort Package offers the following scope of functions (as of SECUTEST firmware 2.1.1):

• Additional “Auto Mains Off” function reduces the number of work steps in automatic tests (as of firmware 3.1.0). If the test instrument is capable of automatically detecting DUT shutdown due to reduced current consumption, the “Please shut down DUT ...” dialog box is automatically hidden without the need to press a key (has to be activated with rotary switch in SETUP position). Note: not suitable for devices such as computers without battery that need to be shut down in an orderly manner.
• New Medical Database Object – distinguish between regular test objects and medical devices in the tree structure. Document additional information on medical devices such as UDI, APP etc., which is also transferred to IZYTRONIQ.
• Search for ME devices via their “UDI” (unique device identification) using the general search function.
• User-defined test sequences – the number of user-defined sequences has been increased to 24.
• Move test objects to another location in the tree structure – “moving” (medical) devices within the tree can be initiated by pressing and holding the respective element in the tree display in the main screen.
• Touch Edit – quick editing of detailed information concerning the DUT without manually switching to the database view. The “Edit” function can be opened for a (medical) device by pressing and holding the respective element in the detail display in the main screen, and the test can be continued immediately after activating the “Save” function.
• Auto-Store – the auto-store function can be activated in the setup menu so that the results of automatic testing are saved immediately under the selected test object.
• Auto-Print – the auto-print function can be activated in setup, after which test reports are automatically printed (thermal printer) or saved as a file to a USB flash drive. Can be combined with auto-store (auto-print as of firmware 3.3.1).
• Push-Print – transfer completed tests/measurements to a connected computer by simply pressing a key directly after testing, without importing/exporting entire data structures (requires IZYTRONIQ or push-print-compatible software).
• Quick Edit – permits direct entry of further DUT details when creating a new DUT by entering a previously unsaved ID (manually or via barcode reader), without having to manually enter or exit the “MEM” database view (function can be switched on and off dynamically – last selected option remains active).
• New test interval database field (also for synchronization with IZYTRONIQ)
• Option for selecting “continue test sequence despite limit violation” – the SECUTEST continues the test sequence although some steps have not been passed in order to generate a complete test report despite the limit value violation. This is especially useful for more complex test sequences at devices with APP sockets (feature J01) or user-defined, automatic test sequences (as of firmware 3.0.0).
• Additional differentiation of inspector roles between electrically trained person and test planner (default: test planner). Preconfigure rotary switch positions A1 through A9 at your SECUTEST for electrically trained persons who work for you as inspectors, and disable configuration options in order to prevent incorrect test execution (as of firmware 3.1.0).
• Keyboard operation in “MEM” database view: an external keyboard can be used to control and navigate the database view more efficiently.(as of firmware 3.0.0)
