The adapter cable permits safe connection of electric measuring instruments to the charging sockets of electric and hybrid vehicles. The connector plug and the cable comply with measuring categories 1000 V CAT III and 600 V CAT IV.

Measuring cable length: approx. 150 cm.

Together with a measuring instrument, e.g. a multimeter, the adapter cable permits measurement of protective conductor resistance RLO and insulation resistance RINS.

Applications

The AK-4M-6F adapter cable (4 mm male to 6 mm female, article number Z110L) makes it possible to connect measuring instruments with 4 mm safety sockets to type I or II charging plugs with 6 mm contacts. The adapter cable is designed such that the charging plug’s short contacts are also reliably contacted, safe mechanical connection is established and safety requirements in accordance with measuring category CAT III are complied with up to1000 V.
