Extended limit value functionality, e.g. stagnation and gradient monitoring, restriction to certain times of day – applications: leakage monitoring, energy consumption and much more

METRAVIEW has its own limit value variable type, which reacts to definable threshold values in the basic system. The limit value function can be monitored for over and undershooting. A hysteresis, as well as a switch-on delay, can be specified.

The limits module extends the limit value function, for example with stagnation and gradient monitoring. This makes it possible to restrict limit values to certain times of day and to implement special applications such as leakage monitoring and energy consumption monitoring, and much more.

Fixed threshold for online measured value (standard function)
Fixed threshold for instantaneous power (for use with meters – standard function)
Fixed threshold for moving average (from 15 minutes values)
Quantity/runtime within the observation period (for use with meters – standard function)
Dynamic threshold for moving average (from 15 minutes values)
Variation between largest and smallest measured value within the observation period
Fixed threshold for actual power within the billing time frame (from raw values)
Fixed threshold for extrapolated power within the billing time frame (from online values)
Process performance patterns can be monitored and detected – proactive alerting can be triggered.
Consumption and runtimes can be forecast (e.g. load peak monitoring).
