With its alarm function, METRAVIEW offers a module for sending messages by e-mail, SMS or voice for the purpose of targeted alerting. Various connectors are offered to this end (e.g. VoIP driver, mail client), which are equipped with external alerting hardware (e.g. SMS, Ethernet, router) or external services (online SMS service). Messages can be sent directly via message templates based on the stored response matrix to specified call destinations with one-time alarm transmission. In the event that responsibilities are reassigned, alarms need to be sent more than once if messages are not acknowledged or if alarms need to be escalated on the basis of a definable logic, an additional license is required for the on-call duty roster.
