Applications

The PROFiTEST H+E CABLE device is used for standardised testing of charging cables for electric vehicles. It is designed for testing charging cables mode 2 (IC-CPD) and charging cables mode 3. The following tests are carried out:

RLO Low-resistance continuity of the protective conductor
RISO Insulation resistance
RCD AC tripping current and time
DC sensor test 6 mA tripping time/current n - Simulation L/N/PE
Function test status B,C,E The test sequence includes visual inspection, function test, electrical test and logging and is carried out automatically or by means of individual tests by a qualified electrician.

Testing of charging cables mode 2 (1-/3-phase) and mode 3 Electrical tests:
