Your advantages
Versatile functions, the large graphic display and intuitive operation enable the user to work efficiently. Long battery runtimes and the robust housing are the perfect prerequisites for daily use.
The KE7200 checks wires and wire pairs of the cable routes for continuity, break, short circuit, interchange and split pair. In the case of short-circuits and interruptions, the KE7200 even determines the distance to the fault location by means of precise TDR method. With the user-configurable cable database, unknown cable and wiring schemes are a thing of the past. Up to 32 individual remote units can be managed by the KE7200. The use of multiple remote units saves time and walking distances and thus shortens the measurement time at the customer‘s site.
KE7200 checks connections on the availability of Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ as well as LTPoE) and defines the available power via a true load test. Active network tests, such as the detection of the link speed in 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbit networks, the listing of the existing network participants incl. name, IP and MAC address of the participant as well as the configurable ping stress test with detailed statistics, inform the user about the network and the possibly faulty factors.
To assign active data ports on the switch of the remote line end, the link LED on the switch is activated with the help of the port finder function. The integrated tone transmission mode enables unambiguous line assignment with unconnected connections by means of the optional Probe P310 search signal receiver.
Ideal for tests in the telecommunications network is the optional software for detecting branches in the in-house telecommunications cabling, which can massively impair the operation of xDSL services due to signal reflection. The KE7200 detects the presence of a branch in the connected 2-wire line and at the same time the distance to the branch.
The KE7207 and KE7208 sets are a complete solution consisting of a network tester and line tracer.
