Apache Log4j Zero-Day Vulnerability

Several days ago, a critical weak point (Log4Shell) was discovered in the widely used Log4j Java library (see link to BSI).

This framework serves in general to log application messages in Java and is also widely used in commercial software. The security loop-hole was assessed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an extremely critical threat. Attackers can execute any desired code via this critical weak point and thus take over entire systems.
